Tenerife South Reina Sofia Airport (TFS) provides access to the southerly regions of the island of Tenerife and is well located at the southernmost point of the TF-1 motorway, which runs north to south along the east coast of the island.

Located on the southern coastline, Tenerife South Reina Sofia Airport is close to a number of notable villages and resorts, including Médano to the east, and both San Isidro and Granadilla de Abona to the north. Also of interest, Las Galletas is situated to the south-west and is a charming town, known for its dark volcanic beach and fishing heritage.
